CJC-1295 (no DAC) + Ipamorelin is a 10mg research blend containing 5mg of each peptide in one lyophilized vial. It pairs a GHRH analogue with a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist for research into growth hormone release and IGF-1 signalling.
CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF 1-29, is a 29-amino-acid analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It is based on the active N-terminal portion of GHRH with four amino-acid substitutions that make it more resistant to enzymatic breakdown. Unlike CJC-1295 with DAC, it has no drug affinity complex, so it does not bind albumin and has a much shorter half-life.
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) that acts on the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a), the receptor for the hormone ghrelin. Each vial of this blend contains 5mg of each peptide, for 10mg in total.
Growth hormone release from the pituitary is regulated by two stimulatory signals: GHRH, acting on GHRH receptors, and ghrelin, acting on GHS-R1a. CJC-1295 (no DAC) mimics the first signal and ipamorelin mimics the second.
Because the two compounds act through different receptors in the same system, they are studied together to examine how GHRH and ghrelin-receptor signalling combine to shape growth hormone pulses and downstream IGF-1 production.
Ipamorelin was described as the first selective growth hormone secretagogue: in animal studies it released growth hormone without significantly raising ACTH or cortisol, unlike earlier secretagogues (Raun et al., European Journal of Endocrinology, 1998).
Clinical pharmacology of the related long-acting compound CJC-1295 with DAC showed sustained increases in growth hormone and IGF-1 in healthy adults (Teichman et al., Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 2006). The no-DAC form in this blend is shorter acting, so findings for the DAC version do not transfer directly. This literature is cited for scientific context only.
CJC-1295 with DAC carries a drug affinity complex that binds albumin and extends its half-life to several days. CJC-1295 without DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) lacks that complex and is much shorter acting, which more closely resembles the natural pulsatile pattern of GHRH.
Each 10mg vial contains 5mg of CJC-1295 (no DAC) and 5mg of ipamorelin, a 1:1 ratio.
